Our Client is an independently owned hospital and operates as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC). Their purpose-built Teesside Hospital opened in January 2026 and delivers first opinion, referral and out-of-hours veterinary services to pets across the surrounding community. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week over a four-day week. The role includes participation in a 2 in 9 weekend rota, providing an excellent balance between clinical work and personal time.

Role Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, purpose-built hospital offering a varied caseload across first opinion, referral and out-of-hours services. The successful candidate will enjoy a broad mix of consultations, diagnostics, medical and surgical cases while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The role provides excellent opportunities for continued professional development, supported by funded CPD and certificate funding. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high standards of patient care while benefiting from exposure to a diverse range of clinical cases within a collaborative hospital environment.

Team Size
The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care across first opinion, referral and emergency services.
