Founder & CEO
Callum is the founder and CEO of Tempus International. After completing university, he worked as a sales rep for a couple of independent companies before entering the world of recruitment in 2015. In the words of Callum ‘you either catch the recruitment bug or you don’t’ but thankfully for him, he did.
In 2018, he founded Tempus International and started trading as Tempus Veterinary Recruitment across the United Kingdom. Fast forward to 2024 and the company has expanded from a team of 1 to a team of 15, split between our UK division, USA division and support staff and he has no plans of slowing down any time soon.
As CEO, his role is managing the overall operations and resources of the company across the UK and USA. Callum has clients who he’s known since joining the industry and see’s recruitment as a ‘people business’ and loves the fact he’s built lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike.
Recruitment Team Leader – UK Division
Sam joined Tempus in May 2021 having previously worked in the hospitality industry. And after a few months, it was clear Sam was made for the industry. He is likeable, friendly, full of energy and has plenty of stories to keep the office entertained.
We asked Sam what he loves most about working at Tempus and he said” I love the fact that no day is ever the same; I am presented with new challenges every single day. Tempus has also allowed me to grow and learn a completely new set of skills that I now use day-to-day”.
Having been a valued member of our company since day one, Sam is now the UK team leader so as well as continuing to recruit, he now manages the day to day running of the team which is proving to be an absolute dream team.
Business Support Assistant
Ryan joined Tempus in April 2023, initially supporting the UK team with administrative operations. Having grown up in the United States, he brings a valuable transatlantic perspective to the role, and we feel very lucky to have someone with first-hand knowledge of both sides of the pond as part of the Tempus family.
An Excel expert through and through, Ryan spends much of his time diving into spreadsheets, streamlining processes, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes of the team. His attention to detail and technical know-how makes him an invaluable support to the wider team.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and can often be found on the golf course, squeezing in a round or two whenever he gets the chance.
Accounts Assistant
Samantha, our Accounts Assistant, joined Tempus in April 2023 and, quite honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without her. She plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly.
After taking a career break to raise and spend quality time with her two sons, Samantha returned to the working world and we’re so glad she found us. She has been gradually increasing both her workload and the number of days she spends in the office, which is fantastic news for us, as her impact is immediately felt whenever she’s away.
Outside of her role, Samantha has a real passion for baking and is well known for occasionally treating the team to a homemade cake or two (something we will never say no to!). She’s also our resident organisation queen, with a love for label makers and all things tidy, so it comes as no surprise that her desk is always impeccably organised.
Chief Marketing Officer
Daisey has technically been part of the Tempus family since the very beginning, officially joining the team in 2022. With a background spanning both the corporate sector and the hospitality industry, she brings a broad range of management experience to her role. Today, Daisey oversees Tempus’s Marketing and Social Media, where her creativity and organisational skills come together to shape and manage our brand presence.
After welcoming her daughter in July 2023, Daisey took a year away from work and returned to Tempus with a fresh perspective. She is now settling into the new and ever-evolving balance of parenthood and professional life.
A creative soul at heart, Daisey also has a love for organisation and baking. And with brownies being her speciality, these often make a welcome appearance in the office because, let’s be honest, who really needs a reason to eat cake?
