Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team at a modern first opinion practice. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time permanent position. The successful candidate will be primarily based at the Stevenage practice, with occasional support provided to a nearby branch when required to meet the needs of the wider team and client base.

Role Description
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide exceptional first opinion care through a varied caseload of consultations and surgery while maintaining the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance. You will develop tailored treatment plans, build lasting client relationships, and work closely with a supportive team to deliver outstanding patient care. This role offers excellent opportunities to expand your clinical skills through access to advanced equipment, funded CPD, and collaboration with experienced colleagues across the wider veterinary network.

Team Size
You will join a welcoming and collaborative veterinary team, working alongside experienced clinicians, qualified nurses, and dedicated support staff. As part of a wider regional network, you will also benefit from additional clinical support and knowledge sharing across neighbouring practices.

Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is equipped with modern facilities designed to support high-quality first opinion care, including a recently installed ultrasound system with four-probe scanning capability, digital radiography, dental x-ray, and Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure monitoring. Additional advanced diagnostic services, including bronchoscopy and gastroscopy, are available through a nearby referral facility, providing excellent support for more complex cases.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2–3 years of post-qualification small animal experience. You will be passionate about delivering outstanding clinical care, confident managing routine consultations and surgery, and committed to excellent client communication. A collaborative approach, adaptability, and enthusiasm for continued professional development are essential, along with a willingness to provide occasional support at a nearby practice.
