Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established first opinion practice on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking for consistency, clinical autonomy, and the chance to build lasting client relationships while managing an existing caseload within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time position working 21 hours per week. The rota includes 1 in 3 Saturdays, participation in the Bank Holiday and on-call rota on a pro-rata basis, with additional opportunities to undertake overtime or out-of-hours work at neighbouring practices if desired.

Role Description
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide high-quality first opinion care through a varied caseload of consultations and routine surgery. The role offers a significant level of sole charge responsibility, allowing you to build continuity with clients and manage cases from initial consultation through to completion. You will maintain the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance while benefiting from the support of the wider veterinary network, ongoing CPD, and funded certificate opportunities.

Team Size
You will work independently within the practice while benefiting from the support and collaboration of experienced colleagues across the wider regional veterinary network, ensuring assistance and clinical guidance are always available when needed.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working independently and is confident managing consultations, routine surgery, and sole charge responsibilities. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care, have excellent communication skills, and be committed to maintaining high clinical standards while continuing to develop your professional knowledge.
