Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is an independent practice looking to welcome an experienced small animal Vet to their friendly and community-focused team. This is a great opportunity to join a purpose-built, well-respected surgery that values collaboration, clinical freedom, and work-life balance.

Rota Details
This is a full-time role across four days per week, with just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (until 12pm). There are no Sundays, bank holidays, or out-of-hours commitments.

Information About the Practice
The practice is small and independently owned, with a close-knit and supportive team environment. Staff are expected to handle brief periods of sole charge during the morning and afternoon, so confidence in independent working is essential. The team takes great pride in delivering quality care and supporting one another day-to-day.

Description of the Role
The role involves all general first-opinion duties, including consultations, routine surgery, and diagnostics. The incoming Vet will enjoy a varied caseload, a high standard of clinical care, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced nursing team.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be confident in sole charge, have several years of post-qualification experience, and enjoy working collaboratively with a tight-knit team. A caring and professional approach, as well as strong communication skills, are key.

Practice Equipment List
The practice is well equipped with a full IDEXX in-house lab, DR x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, HT Vista, Imagyst, and laser treatment.

Any Other Details
There is free on-site parking and relocation assistance available if needed. The team promotes a healthy work-life balance and places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and support.
