Our Client’s practice in Somerton, Somerset is offering an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Located within a charming historic market town, the practice provides a welcoming and supportive working environment with a close-knit clinical team and loyal client base.

The practice offers a varied first opinion caseload alongside strong support from experienced colleagues, making it an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking for flexibility and a positive team culture.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week with flexibility available.

The rota includes 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will deliver high standards of patient and client care across consultations and routine surgical procedures while maintaining excellent clinical and operational standards.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, managing cases collaboratively within the practice team and contributing positively to the supportive and patient-focused working environment.

The role also offers access to wider clinical communities, CPD opportunities and ongoing professional development support.

Team Size
The practice team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, a Head RVN, an RVN and a full support team working collaboratively within a friendly and supportive environment.

Practice Details
The practice is well-equipped and features a spacious reception area, 2 consultation rooms and a dedicated operating room. Located within the picturesque town of Somerton, the practice offers a welcoming community atmosphere alongside a varied first opinion caseload.

Ideal Candidate
