Job Description

My client is an independently owned Practice that is looking for a Locum Vet to provide locum cover for their team.

This position is working 40 hours per week over 4 to 5 days, plus 1 in 4 weekends on an ongoing basis, however they are happy to consider block bookings. The vet would join their rota, which is fixed three months ahead to account for holiday requests, and there is no fixed day off.

There is no sole charge required for this role, and there is no OOH or on-call.

The practice is happy to pay locums as Sole Trader, Limited Company or Umbrellas.

Accommodation can be arranged nearby if their usual accommodation is unavailable.

Requirements

• RCVS registration
• Right to work in the UK
• Small-animal clinical experience, typically 2+ years unless stated otherwise
• Confidence with routine consultations and surgery
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
