Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned veterinary group looking for an experienced Area Veterinary Surgeon to support a cluster of small animal practices around the Chelmsford area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity combining hands-on clinical work with leadership, mentorship and oversight across multiple sites.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position requiring travel between a cluster of practices around the Chelmsford area. Specific working hours, weekend rota and out-of-hours requirements have not been provided and can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Role Description
The Area Veterinary Surgeon will combine clinical work with responsibility for supporting vets and nurses across multiple practices. The role will involve providing clinical guidance and mentorship, supporting CPD and training, promoting best practice and helping maintain consistently high standards of patient care and clinical governance.

Alongside these leadership responsibilities, the successful candidate will remain clinically active across consultations and surgery. This is an opportunity to influence clinical standards across a wider group of practices while continuing to develop leadership and advisory experience.
