We are recruiting Veterinary Surgeons across Pontypridd and the wider Rhondda Cynon Taf area, partnering with independent practices, established veterinary groups, and hospital environments.

Whether you’re seeking a first-opinion GP role, a surgery-heavy caseload, or a clinically progressive setting with strong team support, we regularly recruit for permanent positions that suit different experience levels and career goals.

Many roles in and around Pontypridd offer flexible rota patterns, including part-time options, four-day weeks, and reduced weekend commitments. A number of practices operate with no OOH, or shared and well-supported OOH rotas.

Typical responsibilities include consultations, diagnostics, routine soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, imaging interpretation, case management, clinical record-keeping, and client communication. Some opportunities also offer structured mentorship, certificate support, and progression into Senior Vet or Clinical Lead roles.

Requirements

• RCVS registration

• Right to work in the UK

• Small-animal clinical experience (typically 2+ years unless stated otherwise)

• Confidence with routine consultations and surgery
