Our Client’s practice in Peterborough is a welcoming multi-vet small animal surgery offering an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a supportive team environment and a strong work-life balance with no on-call requirements. The practice benefits from a loyal client base, varied caseload and modern facilities designed to support high clinical standards and ongoing professional development.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across 4 days. The rota includes 1 in 6 Saturday mornings at the nearby branch. There are no on-call duties. Part-time applications will also be considered.

Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will manage consultations, diagnostics, surgery and ongoing case workups while delivering exceptional standards of patient and client care. The role offers exposure to a varied small animal caseload alongside opportunities to develop a medical bias within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities include treatment planning, diagnostics, patient management and contributing positively to the wider clinical team and internal veterinary communities.
The position also provides strong support for ongoing professional development through funded certificates, internal CPD and access to wider hospital and referral support networks.

Located in Peterborough, the practice offers excellent transport links with direct rail access to London King’s Cross and convenient access to London Stansted Airport.

Ideal Candidate
