Job Description

We are recruiting Veterinary Surgeons across Oldham and the surrounding region, working with a mix of independent practices, established groups, and veterinary hospitals.

Whether you are looking for a first-opinion GP role, a surgery-heavy caseload, or a clinically progressive hospital environment, we consistently recruit for permanent positions that suit different experience levels and career goals.

Most roles offer flexible rota patterns, including part-time options, four-day weeks, and reduced weekend commitments. Many practices operate with no OOH, or shared and compensated OOH rotas.

Typical duties include consultations, diagnostics, routine soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, imaging interpretation, case management, clinical record-keeping, and client communication. Some roles offer structured mentorship, certificate support, or progression into Senior or Lead Vet positions.

Why Work With Us

We focus on accurate job matching, transparent information, and a straightforward recruitment process. You will only be introduced to roles that align with your salary expectations, rota preferences, and clinical interests.

Support includes:

  • Full role details before interview

  • Honest salary and benefits information

  • Interview preparation and offer negotiation

  • Long-term career and progression guidance

Requirements

  • RCVS registration

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Small-animal clinical experience (typically 2+ years unless stated otherwise)

  • Confidence with routine consultations and surgery

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
