We are recruiting Veterinary Surgeons across Newport and the surrounding region, working with a mix of independent practices, established veterinary groups, and referral-level hospitals.

Whether you are looking for a first-opinion GP role, a surgery-heavy caseload, or a clinically progressive hospital environment, we regularly recruit for permanent opportunities tailored to different experience levels and career ambitions.

Many roles offer flexible rota patterns, including part-time options, four-day weeks, and reduced weekend commitments. A number of practices operate with no OOH, or shared and well-compensated OOH rotas.

Typical responsibilities include consultations, diagnostics, routine soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, imaging interpretation, case management, clinical record-keeping, and client communication. Some positions also provide structured mentorship, certificate funding, or clear progression into Senior Vet or Lead Vet roles.

Requirements

• RCVS registration

• Right to work in the UK

• Small-animal clinical experience (typically 2+ years unless stated otherwise)

• Confidence with routine consultations and surgery
