Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s practice is seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join their established surgery in Morden, delivering high standards of clinical care and customer service.

Working Hours / Rota
This role includes a 1 in 4 weekend commitment. Full-time hours are expected, with flexibility depending on rota requirements.

Role Description
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering preventative healthcare, diagnosing and treating sick and injured pets, and promoting overall pet wellbeing. You will play a key role in maintaining excellent clinical standards while building strong relationships with clients. The role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, working closely with both clinical and non-clinical team members to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Team Size
You will be part of a well-established and supportive team, including experienced Veterinary Surgeons, a Customer Experience Manager, and a team of Customer Experience Coordinators, creating a collaborative and well-structured working environment.

Practice Details
The practice is purpose-built, modern, and equipped with the latest technology, providing a light and spacious working environment. The clinical team is actively engaged in continuous professional development, with team members holding or working towards certificates in areas such as emergency and critical care and small animal surgery, alongside a strong interest in dentistry within the team. The practice is part of a large, independent, family-owned veterinary group with a nationwide presence and a strong focus on development and high-quality care.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon with over 3 years’ UK experience, who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and client service. They will be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and committed to continuous development. A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for promoting pet wellbeing are essential.
