Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a specialist-led referral centre based in Sale, Cheshire, offering advanced neurology, orthopaedic and surgical services. This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Neurologist to join and help expand an established neurology service within a thriving referral environment.

Located in vibrant and well-connected South Manchester, the practice offers access to a varied and complex caseload within a collaborative, highly experienced team.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time position, with flexible working options available. A 4-day week can be accommodated, with minimal out-of-hours commitments. Specific rota arrangements can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Role Description
In this role, you will support the growth and development of the neurology service within a busy referral centre. You will manage a varied and complex neurology caseload, working closely with experienced orthopaedic and neurosurgeons, dedicated inpatient care staff, and ACPAT-qualified physiotherapists.

You will have clinical autonomy while contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions, service development, and ongoing CPD initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of neurology within the centre and potentially progress towards a Branch Partnership with equity involvement.

Team Size
You will join a specialist-led team comprising orthopaedic and neurosurgeons, inpatient nursing staff, and ACPAT-qualified physiotherapists, working collaboratively within a referral setting focused on high clinical standards.

Practice Details
The centre is equipped with a 1.5T MRI scanner, 16-slice CT, digital radiography (DR X-ray), and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. Facilities include dedicated surgical theatres, inpatient wards, and a comprehensive rehabilitation suite offering physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services.

The practice provides advanced referral services within a modern, well-equipped clinical environment.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Veterinary Neurology. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to high clinical standards and patient care, with excellent communication and case management skills.

A collaborative mindset, enthusiasm for service development, and interest in contributing to long-term growth within a specialist referral setting are essential.
