Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice/hospital and operates two well-established small animal practices across the Kent area. Both sites benefit from experienced nursing teams, loyal client bases, and a collaborative, supportive working culture. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys variety, working across multiple locations, and being part of a progressive regional network with strong clinical resources and development opportunities.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time permanent position working a four-day week. The weekend rota is shared on a one in six basis. There are no out-of-hours duties associated with this role, supporting a healthy work-life balance while working across both sites.
Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will deliver high-quality first-opinion veterinary care across two practices, managing a varied small animal caseload. The role includes routine consultations and surgery, developing tailored treatment plans, and building strong, long-term client relationships. You will work closely with experienced nursing and support teams, benefiting from shared learning, collaboration, and access to wider clinical communities within the group.
Team Size
You will work alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, and support staff across both sites. The teams are friendly, well-established, and committed to delivering excellent patient care and client service.
Practice Details
Both practices are well-equipped first-opinion clinics with strong clinical support and access to regional referral centres, internal CPD, and advanced facilities within the wider group network. The working environment encourages collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS with confidence in routine first-opinion consultations and surgery. You will enjoy working across multiple sites, value teamwork, and have excellent communication skills. A passion for client care, adaptability, and a commitment to high clinical standards are essential.
