Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice offers a Veterinary Surgeon role with genuine clinical variety, a steady and loyal caseload, and the support to develop individual clinical interests. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident GP Veterinary Surgeon looking for more than just another London GP role, with autonomy, continuity of care and a supportive team environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position based on a 4-day working week. Part-time hours may also be considered for the right candidate. The weekend rota is 1 in 6 weekends.
Role Description
The role will involve working across both consultations and surgery within a busy, modern GP practice. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical care, create tailored treatment plans with clients and work collaboratively within a supportive team. There is strong scope to shape your own clinical direction, build confidence in both medical and surgical cases, and access certificate support and further clinical development.
Team Size
The successful candidate will join a growing team currently made up of 2 vets, a graduate vet, RVNs and dedicated support staff. The team works collaboratively to maintain high standards while creating a supportive working environment.
Practice Details
The practice is a busy, modern small animal GP clinic in a high-footfall London location, with strong client engagement and excellent continuity of care. The practice has a loyal client base and offers genuine clinical variety, giving vets the opportunity to develop their interests while being fully supported by the wider clinical team and access to 24-hour hospital support.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS with a passion for clinical excellence and client care. They will be a confident GP Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys both consults and surgery, works well as part of a team, and wants to make a meaningful difference in a practice that values professional development, continuity of care and high clinical standards.
The successful candidate will care deeply about patient outcomes and customer experience, enjoy working collaboratively, communicate clearly and empathetically, and remain organised, proactive and calm under pressure. They will also be motivated by the opportunity to help build something new from the very beginning.
