Introduction
Our Client is an independent practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their exceptionally friendly and supportive team. With long-standing staff members and a close-knit culture, the practice places great emphasis on high-quality, patient-centred care.
Rota Details
The role is structured as a four-day working week, with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota from 8:30am to 12:30pm. There are no OOHs. Part-time hours or alternative working patterns, including consulting-only roles, can be discussed to meet individual requirements.
Information About the Practice
The practice is RCVS accredited, VetGDP approved, and a VN training practice. The team includes 3 Vets, 4 RVNs including a Head Nurse, a Practice Manager, and additional support staff. The clinical team holds interests in Orthopaedics and Medicine, contributing to a strong, collaborative working environment.
Description of the Role
The incoming Vet will enjoy full clinical freedom and the support needed to work up cases thoroughly. Responsibilities include a balance of consulting and surgical duties, with a focus on maintaining the high standards of care the practice is known for. The team supports individual areas of interest, and certificate study can be encouraged and funded.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and who values working within a supportive, long-standing team. An interest in developing clinical skills or pursuing certificates would be welcomed.
Practice Equipment List
Equipment includes endoscopy, ultrasound, dental radiography, and capnography. Additional equipment may be considered to support specific clinical interests.

Free on-street parking is available near the practice. The team is happy to discuss part-time arrangements, consulting-only roles, and support for certificate study.
