Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a confident and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This established South London branch offers the chance to become a key member of a supportive team, providing first opinion consultations and routine surgeries while building strong client relationships.

Rota Details
This is a part-time role offering 30–40 hours per week, with a 1:4 Saturday rotation, a 1:10 Sunday rotation, and one bank holiday per year. There are no on-call requirements. The practice is flexible in discussing the exact working pattern to support a healthy work-life balance.

Information About the Practice
The practice is an established, purpose-built surgery with a trainee nursing team and full support for complex or OOH cases from a nearby 24-hour hospital. Clinical management support is available from the regional head vet and manager, ensuring guidance for both clinical and operational matters.

Description of the Role
The successful candidate will work as a sole-charge vet, providing high-quality first opinion consultations and routine surgical procedures. Leadership training is available for those interested. The role offers the opportunity to build a close-knit client base while benefiting from the support and resources of the wider practice network.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal applicant will be a confident Veterinary Surgeon, comfortable managing sole-charge duties, with strong communication and client care skills. They should be proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering high standards of clinical care within a supportive team environment.

The practice is fully equipped to support day-to-day GP work, with full clinical support available for complex cases and access to modern diagnostic facilities.
