Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a charming small animal practice located on the high street in Coningsby, Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking clinical autonomy within a supportive and collaborative wider network.

The practice offers the ideal environment for a vet who enjoys sole-charge responsibility while working alongside a highly skilled nurse, with access to additional clinical support from nearby practices when required.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time role working 3 days per week. There are no out-of-hours requirements. The practice offers genuine flexibility, with the ability to tailor working hours around personal commitments where possible.

Role Description
In this role, you will deliver exceptional clinical care through consultations and surgical procedures, maintaining high standards of regulatory and operational compliance. You will manage cases independently on a day-to-day basis, developing tailored treatment plans and building strong client relationships.

The practice is seeing a growing number of surgical cases, making this an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with a surgery certificate. However, for experienced candidates passionate about surgery, funding is available to support completion of a surgical certificate.

You will enjoy clinical freedom while remaining connected to a supportive professional network, sharing knowledge and contributing to ongoing clinical development.

Team Size
You will work sole charge alongside a highly skilled and experienced nurse within a close-knit practice environment, with additional support available from neighbouring practices when needed.

Practice Details
The practice is situated in a village high street location, offering a welcoming community feel. It manages a varied small animal caseload with a growing surgical focus, supported by access to a wider network of practices for advice and collaboration.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with solid UK small animal practice experience. You will be confident working sole charge and have strong consultation and surgical skills.

A surgery certificate is desirable; however, experienced vets with a strong passion for surgery and willingness to pursue certification will also be considered. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a proactive approach to case management are essential.
