This is the newest practice within a large, family-owned veterinary group and is equipped with the latest technology to support high-quality veterinary care. The practice is passionate about preventative medicine, patient wellbeing, and fostering a collaborative, supportive working environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 39 hours per week across 4 days, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota.
Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will play a key role within the practice, delivering preventative healthcare, managing medical and surgical cases, and treating sick and injured pets to a high clinical standard. You will work closely with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure an excellent client and patient experience. The role is well suited to a confident GP Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of three years’ experience who enjoys teamwork, communication, and promoting pet wellbeing.
Team Size
You will join a friendly and growing veterinary team made up of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, students, and support staff. The team benefits from a wide range of clinical interests, with many colleagues actively working towards certificates and further professional development.
Practice Details
The practice is purpose-built and fitted with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, supporting both routine and more advanced clinical work. As the newest site within the group, the practice offers a modern, light, and spacious working environment designed to support both patient care and staff wellbeing.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with at least three years of UK small animal general practice experience. You will be knowledgeable, passionate about pet wellbeing, and confident delivering both preventative and reactive care.
