The clinic is purpose-built to leading industry standards and provides a friendly, supportive working environment with a strong focus on high-quality patient care.
Working Hours / Rota
This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. The rota includes one in three weekends, with time off in lieu during the week. There is occasional sole charge responsibility, however there are no out-of-hours duties associated with this role.
Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will work within a busy first-opinion practice seeing a wide variety of cat, dog, rabbit, and guinea pig medical and surgical cases. The role offers 20-minute consultations as standard, allowing time to build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality care. You will be supported to develop your clinical interests, with encouragement and funding available for further study and Certificate-level progression. The role suits a vet confident with routine surgery and medicine who enjoys collaborative working and continuous learning.
Team Size
You will be part of a friendly and supportive team with a range of clinical interests, including behaviour, wellness, and small furry care. The team works closely together, creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive practice culture.
Practice Details
The practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned, and purpose-built to modern standards. Facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. The location offers excellent accessibility with free parking and easy access to major road networks, supporting both commuting and work-life balance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon confident in routine medical and surgical cases and comfortable with occasional sole charge. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy building strong relationships with patients, clients, and colleagues. A genuine interest in developing clinical skills, pursuing further training, and contributing positively to the team culture is essential.
