Introduction
Our Client is a well-equipped small animal practice based in Chafford Hundred, Essex, situated in a vibrant and well-connected commuter area approximately 18 miles from central London. The practice offers modern facilities, in-house diagnostics, imaging, and cat-friendly facilities, supporting high standards of clinical care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon seeking a part-time position within a friendly and supportive team environment, offering strong clinical resources and a healthy work–life balance.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time role. The position includes 1 in 6 weekends, a fair share of Bank Holiday cover, and participation in an on-call rota. On-call duties are covered within a 24-hour hospital system based at a nearby Dartford site.

Role Description
In this role, you will deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures, maintaining high standards of regulatory and operational compliance. You will develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients and manage a varied small animal caseload.

You will work collaboratively within a supportive team, contributing to shared clinical knowledge and maintaining strong client relationships. The role offers the opportunity to continue developing your clinical interests within a well-resourced and professional environment.

Located in Chafford Hundred, Thurrock, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, green spaces, and local amenities, including Lakeside Shopping Centre and Chafford Gorges Nature Park. The practice is supported by a wider 24-hour hospital system for out-of-hours and on-call care.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal practice. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence and client care, alongside the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.

Confidence in consultations and routine surgery is essential, as well as a proactive approach to patient care and ongoing professional development.
