Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a well-established and purpose-built small animal surgery located in Feltham, offering excellent transport links to Central London, Heathrow Airport and surrounding motorway networks. The practice benefits from a loyal and varied client base alongside a supportive and experienced clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient and client care.
The surgery is bright, spacious and air-conditioned, providing a modern working environment equipped to industry-leading standards. The practice also works closely with neighbouring clinics to offer more advanced services including cardiac ultrasounds and complex surgeries performed by certificate holders.
Working Hours / Rota
This is ideally a part-time position working every Saturday from 9am – 6pm, with the potential for an additional 1-2 weekdays if desired. Alternative part-time working patterns can also be discussed for the right candidate.
You will usually work alongside 1-2 other Veterinary Surgeons, although there may occasionally be sole charge responsibilities.
Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will be confident managing routine consultations and surgeries while providing high standards of patient and client care. The role offers a varied caseload within a supportive team environment and would suit someone proactive, personable and clinically capable.
There is strong encouragement for professional development, with support available for CPD and certificate study in areas of personal clinical interest.
Team Size
The practice has a stable and supportive team consisting of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 RVNs, an SVN, a VCA and 5 Receptionists. The nursing team is highly experienced, actively involved in cases and trained to perform Schedule 3 procedures.
The practice is led by an experienced Joint Venture Partner who qualified in 2006 and has successfully grown the practice while maintaining a positive and supportive working culture.

The surgery is purpose built to industry-leading standards and features modern, spacious and air-conditioned facilities. The practice sees a good variety of cases and benefits from strong links with nearby clinics for additional advanced procedures and specialist support.
Located in Feltham, the practice offers excellent accessibility to Central London, Heathrow Airport and surrounding green spaces in Surrey and Middlesex.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a confident and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid small animal medical and surgical skills. Applicants should be comfortable with routine consultations, surgeries and occasional sole charge responsibilities.
