Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned small animal practice in Exeter looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and growing team. With new local leadership in place, the practice offers a supportive environment where vets are encouraged to develop their individual clinical interests while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. Saturday duties are shared on a rota basis, with no out-of-hours requirements.

Role Description
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will manage a varied first-opinion caseload covering consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning and surgery. The practice encourages vets to develop their individual clinical interests and offers excellent opportunities for continued progression.

The position benefits from funded certificates, internal CPD, wider clinical communities and access to support from 24-hour hospitals within the group. There is also exposure to a strong exotic caseload through an existing Veterinary Surgeon with a particular interest in this area.

Team Size
The established team consists of three Veterinary Surgeons, three Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, two Veterinary Care Assistants and two Client Care Assistants, supported by a new local Branch Partner.

Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is well equipped with laparoscopic surgical equipment, X-ray, ultrasound and a good range of in-house laboratory facilities, supporting both high-quality patient care and continued clinical development.

Located near Exeter, the practice provides convenient access to the city alongside the Devon countryside and coast.

The ideal candidate will be an MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon who is confident, compassionate and committed to delivering high standards of patient and client care. Both experienced vets and candidates looking to continue developing their clinical skills can be considered.
