Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned small animal practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a well-rounded role combining both consulting and operating within a close-knit environment, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical care while enjoying a strong sense of teamwork and community.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (09:00–13:00). The rota is designed to support consistency and work–life balance.

Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will deliver exceptional clinical care across consultations and surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory and clinical compliance. Responsibilities include developing tailored treatment plans, communicating clearly and compassionately with clients, and working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The role also involves sharing skills and best practice to support the development of colleagues and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Team Size
The successful candidate will join a close-knit team of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, SVNs, and reception staff, all working collaboratively to provide outstanding patient and client care.

The practice is a busy small animal clinic equipped to support a varied caseload. Facilities enable confident delivery of both routine and more advanced procedures, supporting high clinical standards within a welcoming and well-organised working environment.

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about clinical excellence and outstanding client care.
