The role offers flexible working options, with a preference for 30–40 hours per week, though part-time arrangements can be discussed. Typical shifts are either 8:00am – 6:00pm or 10:00am – 8:00pm, with only one late shift per week. The rota includes 1 weekend per month (Saturday 9:00am – 6:00pm, Sunday 10:00am – 4:00pm). There are no out-of-hours (OOH) responsibilities.

The role offers exposure to a varied and busy caseload, allowing for in-depth case management and clinical development. There is strong encouragement for pursuing areas of interest, including support for further qualifications. The experienced nursing team provides excellent support, particularly for surgical cases.
Team Size
The practice consists of 8 experienced vets, 1 long-term locum, and 1 recent graduate vet, supported by 9 qualified nurses, trainee nurses, and a dedicated front-of-house team. Several team members hold certificates, contributing to a highly knowledgeable and supportive environment.

The practice promotes continuous learning and development, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and personable veterinary surgeon with a passion for delivering high standards of care.
