Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive first opinion team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established practice that combines modern facilities with a collaborative working environment, allowing you to deliver outstanding patient care while continuing to develop your clinical skills.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time permanent position. The role includes a 1 in 6 weekend rotation based at a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing exposure to a varied caseload while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will deliver exceptional first opinion care through a varied caseload of consultations and surgery while maintaining the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance. You will create tailored treatment plans, build strong client relationships, and work collaboratively with an experienced nursing and support team. The practice encourages continued professional development through funded CPD, certificate opportunities, and access to a wider clinical network.

Team Size
You will be joining a close-knit team comprising four Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and an experienced reception team, all working together to provide outstanding patient and client care.

The practice is a modern, well-established first opinion clinic featuring three spacious consulting rooms and a dedicated dental suite equipped with dental x-ray facilities. As part of a wider veterinary network, you will also benefit from access to a nearby 24-hour hospital, advanced clinical support, and ongoing opportunities for professional collaboration and development.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal practice and a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care. You will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, confident managing consultations and routine surgery, and committed to providing outstanding service to both patients and clients while continuing to develop professionally.
