Introduction
Our Client is a long-established veterinary charity dedicated to providing essential veterinary care to pets whose owners are experiencing financial hardship. With over 100 years of service, they continue to expand their reach to ensure pets and people can stay together during challenging times.
This is an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a collaborative and supportive hospital team in Bournemouth, delivering meaningful, welfare-focused care within a varied and rewarding clinical setting.

Role Description
This position offers exposure to a diverse caseload of both medical and surgical cases, providing strong clinical variety and ongoing development. You will be responsible for delivering pragmatic, evidence-based veterinary care, creating clear and realistic treatment plans that balance clinical best practice with the individual circumstances of each client.
You will communicate confidently and compassionately with clients, building trust and supporting informed decision-making. The role requires adaptability, resilience, and strong clinical judgement within a busy hospital environment.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to case discussions, and support the continuous improvement of hospital services.

The Bournemouth hospital promotes a highly collaborative culture with strong teamwork, shared learning, and open case discussion. The clinical team has varied interests, providing access to a broad pool of experience and expertise.
The hospital is modern and well-equipped, featuring separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
