Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week, structured over a 4-day working week with 2:9 Saturday shifts on a rotating basis.
Role Description
In this role, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities including inpatient care, surgical assistance, nurse consultations, and diagnostic procedures. You will be a vital part of the clinical team, helping to deliver affordable, high-quality care to a varied client base. You will also play a key role in supporting the clinic’s mission of reducing barriers to treatment for pet owners, especially those on lower incomes.

You will join a collaborative and growing nursing team supported by an experienced group of veterinary surgeons and auxiliary staff. The practice fosters a no-hierarchy environment where everyone works together toward shared goals in animal welfare and clinical excellence.
Practice Details
The Bolton practice is part of a wider group that operates as the UK’s only veterinary Community Interest Company. The hospital provides both first opinion and more complex care, including 24-hour services, and is equipped with a wide range of modern tools and technology to support both patient outcomes and professional development. The inclusive culture promotes open communication and team-wide involvement in decision-making.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced RVN with a strong commitment to animal welfare and clinical standards. You should be confident in all aspects of nursing and excited by the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
