Introduction
Our Client is a well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital based in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Located on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds with excellent access to Oxford city centre, the practice serves as a central hub for the region, delivering high-quality care to pets both day and night.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, recently extended and refurbished hospital environment with a strong emergency and critical care focus.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time position covering weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday). Flexible working options are available, including full or half-day shifts, alternate weekends, or variable patterns to suit individual commitments.

Role Description
As a Weekend Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering gold-standard patient and client care within a busy 24-hour hospital setting. Your day will involve a variety of nursing and surgical duties, supporting consultations, procedures, and inpatient care, particularly within emergency and critical care cases.

You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, contributing your clinical expertise and ensuring high standards of regulatory and operational compliance. The role offers exposure to interesting and complex medical cases, with opportunities to further develop your skills in a well-equipped hospital environment.

Practice Details
The hospital has recently been extended and refurbished and features advanced diagnostic facilities including a CT scanner and digital x-ray. As a 24-hour hub for the Oxford region, the practice manages a varied caseload across first-opinion and emergency care.
