Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice with a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional first opinion veterinary care within the local community. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a welcoming and supportive team where collaboration, professional development and high-quality patient care are at the heart of everything they do.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across either four or five days, offering flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance. The practice operates between 8:00am and 7:00pm, with the potential to join a one-in-six Saturday rota at a nearby hospital.

Role Description
This varied first opinion nursing role will see you involved in all aspects of clinical nursing, including theatre nursing, surgical preparation and recovery, inpatient care, patient monitoring, nurse consultations and preventative healthcare. You will work closely with veterinary surgeons and the wider nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care while educating clients on their pets’ ongoing health. The role is well suited to both newly qualified and experienced RVNs, offering excellent support, mentorship and opportunities to further develop your clinical skills within a collaborative environment.

Team Size
You will join an experienced team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff who work closely together to provide outstanding patient care. The practice has excellent staff retention and prides itself on its friendly, collaborative culture where everyone contributes to the day-to-day success of the practice.

Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is a well-established first opinion clinic with a loyal client base and a strong reputation within the local community. Facilities include digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring and well-equipped surgical facilities. The team also benefits from access to additional referral-level equipment through a nearby hospital, supporting a broad and interesting caseload.

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care. Whether newly qualified or experienced, you will be a friendly, approachable team player who enjoys working within a true general practice environment.
