Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned, not-for-profit veterinary practice providing accessible, affordable, high-quality veterinary care. As the UK’s only veterinary Community Interest Company (CIC), the organisation is committed to removing financial barriers to treatment through free daytime consultations and transparent pricing. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern practice offering a varied caseload and excellent opportunities to fully utilise your nursing skills.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across a four-day week. The role includes a shared rota of 2 in 9 Saturdays (8:30am–6:30pm) with time off in lieu.
Role Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy first opinion practice supported by a nearby 24-hour hospital, ensuring continuity of care for patients requiring ongoing treatment. You will work with a varied medical and surgical caseload, making full use of your nursing skills while delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment. No two days are the same, providing excellent opportunities for continued professional development.
Team Size
You will join a friendly multidisciplinary team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff who work together in an inclusive, collaborative environment with a shared commitment to clinical excellence.
Practice Details & Equipment
The modern practice features six consultation rooms, two fully equipped operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray, ultrasound, digital X-ray, separate dog and cat wards, and a spacious waiting area with a dedicated quiet space for cats. The practice is supported by a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing seamless care for patients requiring overnight or emergency treatment.
