Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned veterinary practice with a strong reputation for providing high-quality small animal care within a friendly and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a part-time role where they can work alongside an experienced team while continuing to develop their clinical skills.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The role also includes providing occasional holiday and sickness cover within the nursing team.

Role Description
This varied nursing role provides essential clinical support during the practice’s busiest period of the day. Responsibilities include theatre nursing, monitoring general anaesthesia, inpatient care, laboratory work, blood sampling, assisting veterinary surgeons during procedures, supporting patient recovery and conducting nurse consultations. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a close-knit clinical team, delivering exceptional patient care while benefiting from ongoing CPD and opportunities to further develop their nursing skills.

You will join a collaborative team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff who work closely together with a genuine team-first approach. The practice is proud of its welcoming culture, excellent staff retention and commitment to supporting every member of the team.

Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is a modern small animal surgery equipped with a dedicated operating theatre, sterile theatre, preparation room, dental suite, digital radiography and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. The practice is committed to maintaining high clinical standards while providing an excellent environment for both patients and staff.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is compassionate, proactive and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. You will have strong clinical nursing skills, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a desire to continue developing professionally through CPD and practical experience.
