Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a well-equipped small animal clinic located in Rhyl, North Wales, offering a modern and progressive environment with a strong focus on nurse-led care. The practice is part of a wider group committed to providing accessible, high-quality veterinary services, supported by a collaborative and friendly team.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days. The rota includes 2 in 9 Saturdays. There are no out-of-hours requirements stated.
Role Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is keen to utilise their skills within a nurse-led environment. You will play a key role in delivering high standards of patient care, supporting both medical and surgical cases, and contributing to a smooth and efficient clinical workflow.
The role offers exposure to a varied caseload, allowing you to fully utilise your clinical skills across consultations, inpatient care, theatre work, and diagnostics. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure exceptional patient welfare while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive and progressive setting.

Practice Details
The practice is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring nine consultation rooms, four theatres, a dedicated dental suite, an X-ray suite, and a diagnostics room. It also includes a dedicated end-of-life room and separate dog and cat wards, ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for patients.
The clinic provides a modern and well-supported setting, designed to deliver high-quality veterinary care across a wide range of cases.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who is confident and motivated to work within a nurse-led environment. You will have strong clinical skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.
A team-oriented mindset, good communication skills, and a commitment to continuous development are essential.
