Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice in Bamber Bridge is a recently renovated, modern first-opinion practice offering a wide range of advanced services including orthopaedics and laparoscopic surgery. The practice is seeking a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly, experienced and supportive team in a role that offers excellent variety, development opportunities and a strong focus on work-life balance.
Working Hours / Rota
Ideally, this is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 weekends. The practice is passionate about work-life balance and is happy to discuss flexible working options to suit individual lifestyles.
Role Description
The successful candidate will deliver nurse-led appointments, support surgeries and procedures, carry out Schedule 3 activities, and provide exceptional patient monitoring and care. Responsibilities also include admissions and discharges, client care, and working collaboratively within a supportive clinical environment. There are regular opportunities to assist with advanced procedures including orthopaedics and laparoscopic surgery, making this an excellent opportunity for someone keen to expand their clinical experience and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Team Size
The practice has a supportive team of 5 vets, including a three-times certificate holder in surgery, alongside a strong nursing and support team.

The clinic has recently undergone renovation and is now a modern, advanced first-opinion practice with excellent facilities. The practice offers orthopaedics, laparoscopic surgery and a broad range of services while maintaining strong links with a nearby 24-hour centre and other local branches for additional clinical support and development opportunities. The practice also features separate dog and cat wards alongside a rabbit-friendly setup.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. They will be confident, eager to learn, motivated to contribute positively within a team environment, and interested in developing their clinical skills further through exposure to advanced procedures and a varied caseload.
