Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a well-established veterinary clinic located in East Oxford, offering a supportive and collaborative environment with a strong focus on clinical excellence and professional development. The practice is well-positioned within a vibrant area, providing easy access to local amenities and transport links.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract working 40 hours per week. The role includes a 1:6 full weekend rota or 1:3 Saturday or Sunday shifts, along with a fair share of on-call duties and bank holidays.
Role Description
This is a great opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and experienced team within a busy practice.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care through nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, while supporting Veterinary Surgeons with surgeries and clinical work. Duties include patient monitoring, managing admissions and discharges, and ensuring compliance with clinical and operational standards.
You will work collaboratively within the team, contributing to a positive environment while maintaining high standards of patient and client care.
Team Size
You will be working alongside a team of two full-time Veterinary Surgeons, one part-time Veterinary Surgeon, two Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a Client Care Assistant.

The practice is equipped with modern facilities including laparoscopic equipment, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures. It operates within a well-supported veterinary network, providing access to advanced resources, training, and development opportunities.
