Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s hospital is seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its highly regarded and friendly nursing team, affectionately known as “Gang Green.” This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and well-equipped hospital environment with a varied caseload across both medical and surgical disciplines.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The rota includes a variety of shifts covering theatre, CT, inpatient care, consults, laboratory work and general nursing duties. Weekend work is 1 in 8 Saturdays and Sundays from 8am–6pm with RVN and Nursing Assistant support provided. Time off in lieu is given with 2 days off the following week. There are no out of hours duties thanks to a dedicated night team, and Bank Holidays are covered on a voluntary basis.

Role Description
The successful candidate will work across a varied hospital caseload including medical and surgical nursing, theatre work, inpatient care, nurse consults, CT support and laboratory duties. The role offers excellent variety and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering exceptional patient care and client communication. Nurses are encouraged to develop their skills and play an active role within the wider hospital team.

Team Size
The nursing team is close-knit, supportive and highly regarded, working collaboratively alongside RVNs, Nursing Assistants and a dedicated night team.
