Introduction
Our Client is a non-profit, community-focused veterinary practice in Failsworth, Greater Manchester seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its supportive team. Operating as a Community Interest Company, the practice is focused on making high-quality veterinary treatment more accessible and affordable while providing its clinical team with a varied and rewarding caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
Both full-time and part-time applications are welcomed. The full-time rota consists of 40 hours across four days per week, with Saturdays shared on a 2:12 basis and time off in lieu provided. Specific part-time hours and any out-of-hours requirements can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Role Description
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will work across a diverse medical, surgical and orthopaedic caseload, providing plenty of opportunity to utilise and develop their nursing skills. The practice’s busy caseload and growing number of certificate holders provide a strong environment for continued clinical development.

The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to accessible veterinary care while benefiting from funded CPD and the experience available across the wider clinical team.

Team Size
The successful candidate will join a supportive clinical team that includes a growing number of certificate holders, providing access to additional expertise and opportunities for collaborative learning. Specific team numbers have not been provided.

Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is well equipped to manage a busy and varied caseload, with three operating theatres, X-ray facilities, a dedicated dental suite and seven consultation rooms. Separate dog and cat wards help provide a calmer environment for hospitalised patients.
The clinical caseload covers medical, surgical and orthopaedic cases, offering RVNs plenty of variety and opportunities to develop their experience.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to utilise the full range of their nursing skills and make a meaningful difference to patients and clients. They should be comfortable working across a varied caseload and enjoy being part of a busy and supportive clinical environment.

A collaborative approach, strong patient-care standards and an enthusiasm for making veterinary treatment more accessible and affordable will be particularly well suited to this position.
