Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high standards of patient care while contributing to nurse-led services within a collaborative practice environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 40 hours over 4 days. The rota includes __1 in 6 weekends at a 24-hour hospital, 1–2 bank holidays per year, and 2 weeks per year on-call.

Role Description
The Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a key role in delivering nurse-led appointments and supporting veterinary surgeons during procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with consultations, surgical procedures, and Schedule 3 activities while maintaining the highest standards of clinical and operational compliance.

The role involves monitoring patients, managing admissions and discharges, and ensuring patients receive attentive and compassionate care throughout their treatment. Nurses will also provide clear communication and support to clients, helping them understand treatment plans and ongoing patient care requirements.

Working closely with veterinary surgeons and the wider nursing team, the successful candidate will contribute to efficient clinical workflows and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient and client care.

Team Size
The nursing team works alongside experienced veterinary surgeons, student nurses, and a dedicated client care team within a collaborative multidisciplinary practice environment.

The practice operates as part of a wider veterinary network with access to 24-hour hospital facilities for additional support and advanced care. The clinical environment encourages collaboration and professional development, with access to internal CPD opportunities and wider clinical communities.

The Ideal Candidate
