Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned practice seeking Registered Veterinary Nurses to join their growing team based in the heart of Chelsea. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking environment focused on redesigning the veterinary experience, creating a supportive space where teams, clients and patients genuinely feel valued.

Working Hours / Rota
The role is full time, with a structured rota that includes participation in the nurse consult service and surgical support. Flexibility is encouraged, and the successful candidate may occasionally be asked to cover shifts at other sites.

Role Description
This role is ideal for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys a varied and hands-on position. Daily duties include nurse consultations, general anaesthetic monitoring and record keeping, conducting screening procedures such as auscultation and sample procurement, administering treatments as directed and maintaining accurate clinical notes. You will assist veterinary surgeons during invasive and non-invasive procedures, support unsettled patients with urgency, manage stock levels and help educate pet owners on routine and specialised care. There is a strong emphasis on high clinical standards, excellent surgical etiquette, infection control and maintaining immaculate clinical environments, alongside ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with demonstrable clinical experience, including nurse consultations and general anaesthetic monitoring. You will be confident working independently while also being a strong team player with excellent communication skills. A proactive approach, strong initiative, confidence using practice management systems and a commitment to high standards of patient care, hygiene and clinical record keeping are essential..
