Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and experienced team. This is an exciting time to join the clinic as it undergoes a significant expansion, providing the opportunity to be part of a growing and supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week with 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital. Hours may be increased in the future depending on candidate preference and business needs.

Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding patient and client care while ensuring the highest clinical, regulatory, and operational standards are maintained. Key duties include assisting with surgeries and procedures, managing pre- and post-operative care, carrying out nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities, inpatient monitoring, admissions, and discharges. Additional responsibilities include dispensing and checking medications, coordinating the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations, and upholding best practice across the clinic.

Team Size
The clinic is supported by a long-standing team consisting of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and Client Care Assistants, all dedicated to providing exceptional service.

Situated in a vibrant area of North London, the clinic benefits from a loyal client base and access to a wider network of 24-hour and referral hospitals for support and continuity of care.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in delivering high standards of patient and client care. They should be confident in conducting nurse consults, performing Schedule 3 procedures, and working collaboratively within a team. Strong communication, organisational, and mentoring skills are highly valued.
