Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s hospital is a modern, well-equipped 24-hour veterinary facility located in a beautiful part of London, within walking distance of excellent transport links. The hospital prides itself on delivering exceptional care and fostering a supportive, friendly team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week (25.5 hours). There is flexibility for candidates seeking slightly more or fewer hours. The role is based within a 24-hour hospital environment, so some involvement with varied shifts may be expected.

Role Description
The role focuses on delivering outstanding patient and client care at all times. Responsibilities include supporting surgeries and procedures, carrying out nurse-led appointments, and providing high-quality inpatient monitoring. You will manage admissions and discharges, dispense medications, and ensure all clinical standards are maintained. There is also an element of team coordination, helping to support efficient daily operations and contributing to a positive working culture. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development through CPD and further qualifications.

Team Size
You will be joining an experienced, supportive, and collaborative team within a busy hospital setting, working alongside skilled veterinary surgeons and nursing colleagues.

Practice Details
This is a fully equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital offering advanced facilities and high standards of care. The practice includes separate dog and cat wards, an isolation area, and multiple operating theatres. It is equipped to handle a wide range of medical and surgical cases with modern diagnostic and surgical technology.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with strong clinical experience and proven leadership ability. Candidates should be confident in managing nursing responsibilities while supporting and developing a team.

Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care are essential. A proactive attitude toward leadership and continuous improvement will ensure success in this role.
