Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned practice seeking Registered Veterinary Nurses to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organisation that is redesigning the veterinary experience, providing modern, purpose-built clinics where teams, clients, and patients feel valued and inspired.
Rota Details
The role is full time, with a structured rota that includes participation in the nurse consult service and surgical support. Flexibility is encouraged, and the successful candidate may occasionally be asked to cover shifts at other sites.
Information About the Practice
The clinic will operate with a highly skilled team of Vets, RVNs, and support staff. The environment combines modern design, in-house technology, and a collaborative, people- and animal-first culture. Description of the Role
The RVN will carry out a range of clinical duties including nurse consultations, screening procedures, sample collection, GA monitoring, administering treatments, and supporting veterinarians during procedures. They will maintain accurate clinical records, ensure high standards of hygiene and equipment care, monitor stock levels, and provide guidance to pet owners on routine and specialised care. The role requires adherence to all clinical protocols, active participation in team processes, and a proactive approach to delivering excellent patient care.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Veterinary Nurse, including nurse consulting and GA monitoring. They will be confident with surgical procedures and quarantining protocols, capable of working independently, and experienced with PMS systems. Strong communication skills, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
