Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned veterinary practice in Fulham, Greater London seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its close-knit and supportive team. The practice has a loyal and diverse client base and offers an excellent environment for an RVN looking to develop their clinical skills while delivering high standards of patient-focused care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent, full-time position. Specific working hours, weekend requirements and out-of-hours duties have not been provided and can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Role Description
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will deliver nurse-led consultations, Schedule 3 procedures and inpatient nursing while supporting the veterinary team with consultations, surgery, medical investigations and procedures. Responsibilities will also include patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, client education and maintaining high clinical standards.

There is a strong emphasis on professional development and clinical quality improvement. The RVN will have opportunities to mentor nursing and EMS students, contribute to clinical governance and Practice Standards initiatives, and help develop clinical policies within the practice.

Team Size
The successful candidate will join a close-knit and supportive clinical team that regularly hosts nursing and EMS students. The practice also works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital for additional inpatient, emergency and advanced clinical support. Specific team numbers have not been provided.

Practice Details & Equipment
The well-established practice manages a varied caseload of approximately 60% dogs and 40% cats, with a particularly strong medical focus and an emphasis on thorough investigation and case work-up.

The practice takes a cat-friendly approach to handling and is equipped with dental radiography, echocardiography capabilities and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. Additional support for emergency treatment, inpatient care and advanced procedures is available through a nearby 24-hour hospital.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care and keen to continue developing within a progressive clinical environment.

An interest in medical nursing, inpatient care and clinical quality improvement would be particularly beneficial. The role would also suit an RVN who enjoys mentoring students, contributing to practice development and working collaboratively within a supportive team.
