Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team at their modern, purpose-built practice in West London. This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN who enjoys variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a genuine difference as the sole nurse in a well-established practice.

Working Hours / Rota
The role is based on a 4-day working week with 1 in 6 weekends. You will have a fixed day off each week to provide structure and work-life balance. There are no out-of-hours or on-call requirements.

Role Description
As the Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will take an active role in patient care and client communication, supporting consultations, procedures, anaesthesia, and inpatient monitoring. You will carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence are achieved. The practice actively encourages personal development and provides CPD and internal support to help you advance your clinical and consulting skills.

Team Size
You will be working within a supportive team consisting of Veterinary Surgeons, Client Care Assistants, and Veterinary Care Assistants. You will also have access to a wider network of nurses through their Clinical Communities for ongoing collaboration and mentorship.

Practice Details
The practice is a purpose-built, open-plan practice featuring two modern theatres, three consulting rooms, and separate cat and dog waiting areas and kennels. The practice is equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, tonometer, and full in-house laboratory. You’ll also have access to advanced imaging and diagnostics, including CT and VVS (Virtual Veterinary Specialists), through their local 24-hour hospital.

The Ideal Candidate
An RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to patient care. You’ll enjoy working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team, take pride in delivering high-quality nursing care, and be keen to continue developing your professional skills through CPD and internal training opportunities.
