Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned small animal practice seeking an RVN to join their well-established team.
Rota Details
This full-time role offers flexibility to work either 4 or 5 days per week, including a weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays (08:30 am – 12:30 pm). The practice is closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
Information About the Practice
Established for 24 years, the practice serves the Greenwich community with gold-standard care and a busy caseload of around 100 clients daily. It is a supportive training practice with a close-knit team comprising 4 vets, 2 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 3 CCAs, who foster a friendly and welcoming environment both professionally and socially.
Description of the Role
The nursing duties are rotated across nurse consults, surgery, inpatients, discharging, and ultrasound monitoring. Reception duties are handled separately by the support team.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment, be proactive, and have a friendly, supportive approach, especially towards those in training. Clinical coaching experience is a plus but not essential.
Practice Equipment List
The practice is equipped with ultrasound, cardiac sounds, dental X-ray, digital X-ray, blood and urine equipment, an endoscope, and anaesthesia monitoring.
