Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned veterinary practice and part of a collaborative network of community-focused practices committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, progressive practice where teamwork, professional development and staff wellbeing are genuinely prioritised.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent, full-time position. Working hours and rota will be discussed during the recruitment process.
Role Description
This rewarding nursing role involves delivering high standards of patient care across a varied first opinion caseload. Responsibilities include assisting veterinary surgeons during consultations, diagnostics and surgical procedures, monitoring anaesthesia, providing perioperative and inpatient care, administering medications, maintaining accurate clinical records and offering excellent client communication and support. You will also play an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while working closely with a supportive and experienced clinical team. The practice encourages continuous learning and provides excellent opportunities to further develop your nursing skills and clinical responsibilities.
Team Size
You will become part of a welcoming team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff who work collaboratively to deliver outstanding patient care. Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, or eligible for registration, with strong clinical nursing skills and a proactive, positive attitude. You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. A commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to contribute to a supportive practice culture will be highly valued.
