Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned veterinary practice and part of one of the UK’s largest family-owned veterinary groups. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, purpose-built practice where clinical excellence, continuous learning and exceptional patient care are at the heart of everything they do.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working four days per week. The role includes participation in a one-in-four weekend rota and duty nights on rotation.

Role Description
This varied nursing role offers the opportunity to work across consultations, theatre, inpatient care and surgical nursing within a busy first opinion practice. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional clinical care while supporting and developing fellow team members. Working closely with the veterinary surgeons and nursing team, you will help maintain high clinical standards, contribute to continuous improvement within the practice and provide an outstanding experience for both patients and clients. The varied caseload and strong commitment to CPD make this an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN looking to further develop their skills.

Team Size
You will join a friendly and collaborative team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff. Many of the clinical team are either certificate holders or currently working towards advanced qualifications, creating a supportive environment focused on learning and professional development.

Practice Details & Equipment
The practice is a modern, purpose-built veterinary surgery equipped with the latest technology to support high-quality first opinion care. Recognised as a Cat Friendly Clinic, the practice is committed to continually developing its services, with team members undertaking advanced training in areas including surgery and small animal medicine. Ongoing investment in facilities and clinical development ensures an excellent working environment for both staff and patients.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent clinical nursing skills and a proactive, positive attitude. You will enjoy working across a varied caseload, thrive within a collaborative team and be passionate about supporting colleagues while delivering exceptional patient care. A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high clinical standards is essential.
