Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned veterinary practice in Hampstead, Greater London seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its supportive clinical team. The role offers a varied combination of hands-on nursing, nurse-led clinics and preventative healthcare, alongside opportunities to develop through exposure to more complex cases at a nearby 24-hour hospital.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across either four or five days. Weekend duties consist of 1:6 full weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital in Hendon, covering Saturday and Sunday. The position also includes two bank holidays per year and some support for the dedicated night team during periods of increased caseload.

Role Description
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will support surgical procedures, diagnostics and inpatient care while delivering nurse-led appointments, Schedule 3 activities and preventative healthcare services. Responsibilities will also include patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, and delivering an excellent standard of client care.

The role provides scope to develop nurse clinics, improve clinical processes and help maximise the potential of the nursing team. Weekend and hospital work will also provide exposure to more complex cases and opportunities to work alongside colleagues across the wider clinical network.

Team Size
The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside Veterinary Surgeons, nursing colleagues and support staff, with additional opportunities to work with the clinical team at a nearby 24-hour hospital. Specific team numbers have not been provided.
