Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned veterinary practice with a friendly, community-focused team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-equipped practice where teamwork, clinical excellence and professional development are genuinely encouraged.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working a four-day week. The role includes participation in a one-in-six full weekend rota based at a nearby 24-hour hospital.
Role Description
This varied nursing role offers the opportunity to work across nurse consultations, theatre, inpatient care and surgical support within a busy first opinion practice. You will carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures, assist veterinary surgeons during consultations and surgeries, monitor and care for hospitalised patients, manage admissions and discharges, and maintain the highest clinical and regulatory standards. Working as part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient and client care while benefiting from excellent opportunities for CPD and career progression.
Team Size
You will become part of a welcoming team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses and support staff who work collaboratively to provide exceptional care. The practice promotes a positive working culture where colleagues are supported to develop both personally and professionally.
