Our Client’s practice is opening a brand-new veterinary clinic is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team. Working Hours / Rota
The role is full time, with a structured rota that includes participation in the nurse consult service and surgical support. Flexibility is encouraged, and the successful candidate may occasionally be asked to cover shifts at other sites.

Role Description
This Registered Veterinary Nurse role will involve delivering high standards of clinical nursing care across a varied caseload. Duties will include nurse consultations, screening procedures, auscultation, sample procurement, general anaesthetic monitoring and accurate record keeping.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for recording detailed clinical notes, administering treatments as directed, assisting vets during invasive and non-invasive procedures, maintaining clean and disinfected clinical areas, monitoring stock levels and supporting unsettled patients with urgency and care.
There will also be a strong client education element, helping pet owners understand routine and specialised care procedures. The role offers the opportunity to grow, learn and contribute to a developing veterinary group with a strong focus on clinical excellence and modern pet care.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with demonstrable nursing experience, strong nurse consulting skills and confidence with general anaesthetic monitoring. They will have excellent surgical etiquette, understand quarantining procedures and hold a Veterinary Nursing Degree or equivalent qualification.
They will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, initiative and the ability to work independently. Practice management system experience is also sought, alongside a genuine passion for the veterinary industry and a desire to be part of a forward-thinking, growing clinical team.
